Digg bar now available
Digg is a place for people to discover and share content from anywhere on the web, and the Digg bar on your Streaming Internet Radio toolbar makes it even easier. You won't find editors at Digg — all content is submitted and voted on by people like you.
The Digg bar is a toolbar that when launched, sits in your browser window. From within the toolbar, users can Digg stories and share them with their friends on Twitter and Facebook. The Digg bar also features shortened URLs, and, maybe even more interestingly, Digg now also displays how many times a story has been clicked through from Digg.
In addition, the new toolbar will allow users to see other stories on Digg from the same source, as well as related stories. Users will also be able to see some comments directly from the toolbar, though this is currently restricted to the latest, most controversial, and the most popular comments.
Like a story on a webpage? Simply click the 'Digg it' button to make your vote count. Then easily share via email or on Facebook or Twitter. One click brings you related stories or stories from the same source. You can discover even more content by clicking on the 'Random' button – you never know what you'll get!
The toolbar also features a prominent 'Random' button, that will, as the name implies, take you to a random page with a similar story that was popular on Digg in the last few days. This, of course, is very similar to what StumbleUpon does.
All of this, of course, will help to make Digg an even stickier site, as users will never quite leave the Digg experience behind.
To launch the new Digg bar from your Streaming Internet Radio toolbar, click Menu > SOCIAL BOOKMARKING > DIGG > Launch DIGG bar
